A total of 18 candidates from the Galle Area Deanery received the Holy Communion for the first time on 9th October 2022.
12 Candidates were confirmed during the Holy Communion Service held at Christ Church, Baddegama, and 9 candidates in the service held at Holy Trinity Church, Patuwatha.
The Bishop of Colombo presided both services and the vicar of both churches, Rev Anil Wickramasinghe also participated in the services.
