The Diocesan Council Sessions will commence on Monday the 26th of October 2015, and will continue on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th October 2015.
Evensong will be held at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour, Colombo 7 at 4.00 p.m. on Monday 26th October 2015. The preacher will be Revd. Marc Billimoria.
The blessing and opening of the refurbished Diocesan Council Chambers will take place immediately after this. The Chief Guest at the council Sessions this year will be Rt. Revd. Nick Baines, Bishop of the Diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales and Mrs.Linda Baines.
The inauguration of the 130th Sessions of the Diocesan Council will commence at the Diocesan Council Chambers with the Bishop of Colombo taking the chair.
There will be celebrations of the Holy Communion at the Cathedral, on the 27th and 28th commencing at 7.00 a.m. Morning Prayers on both days will commence at 6.30 a.m.
